The Aero Showcase is an annual, two-day event focused entirely on recreational flying, general and sport aviation. The Showcase is held at the DeLand Municipal Airport (KDED). The city of DeLand is known as "The Athens of Florida" for its rich, creative culture featuring arts venues, international cuisine, night life and entertainment. Plus, the weather at end of October is perfect to draw attendees to DeLand for a fun Florida weekend.

The event is set up to provide easy access to the runways and designated flight decks to facilitate flights of aircraft all day, every day.
 
Promotion for the event has been expanded to include more media advertising targeted to fly-in residents, aviation enthusiasts, and affluent communities throughout the southeastern US besides the national campaigns through media partnerships with leading industry publications. The Aero Showcase will also be leveraging DeLand as a cultural destination appealing to pilots and their families to attend the event as part of a multifaceted vacation.
